Chinese Mobile giant Cheetah Mobile wanted to attract more users and bring awareness of its live-streaming app, Live.Me. They approached Studio Stare to create two pieces of video that would be appealing to a young North American/European target audience, and broadcasted over Snapchat.

For the release of the second edition of Badland, Studio Stare came up with a video trailer that not only shows the games new features, but also creates an angsty, suspense-rid environment to attract potential players. Using only visual elements that can be found in the game, and adding others like a compelling voiceover and transitions, the video has been seen already more than 150,000 times on Youtube.
